MTN AND OTHER ISPs ARE EXPLOITING NIGERIANS - Bloggers
It had been a long time since telecommunications company have been in existence in this country, and they are becoming giants forgetting we are their customers who have rights to negotiate price with them. MTN NG had even become a giant that they even misbehaved last year and changed their display name to MTN NIGERIA.
HOW ARE THEY EXPLOITING US?
Two Igbo bloggers made a post on Facebook, firstly it was Benedict Leo who posted "You will subscribe now and MTN will send you a message
"Yello.
Dear customer you have exhausted your data bundle bla bla bla unlike in India they pay $5 for 120gb. How much are we even earning online".
Joseph Paul Raised the hash tag #reducedataprice immediately and other bloggers and Nigerians have started raising the campaign hashtag against the discrimination of these companies.
Nigerians also called GloNg as the second in command to the devil, once you subscribed, they switch off your data.
Many Nigerians have posted and reacted to the post on "Naija Rant". Someone asked "which Network will switch of your data after subscription " and surprisingly all the comments we're GloNg.
We Nigerians we expect much from Glo but they fucked up big time.

A well known blogger Oladimeji Abubakar who is also is the first youngest blogger and had been blogging for six (6) years said "When you subscribed, we share your data with you, that's just the secret".
Surprisingly what about Airtel NG and 9mobile, people stop complaining about them as they are still a inch better. Airtel Ng had been known not to be stable and 9mobile packages are confusing, so now Nigerians don't complain much about them, we will give them 4 4star rating.
MTN NG complete slogan is " Everywhere you go, same network same service", which had not been so, go to some places in Odeda Ogun state, Ebonyi and Eastern states can't be reachable except they are in some defined location before they can be reached, but you what Airtel are good in these locales.
This issue of data subscription had made alot of Nigerians to result in buying Multiple sin cards, an average Nigeria heavy user have upto 7sims of different network.

Is Having Multiple Sim Cards A Solution?
No, this had result into a hack in MTN and other ISPs servers, recently, there was an hack of 120gb in MTN server, which many claimed to have subscribed 20 Sims, 11, and let's just do the calculation,
Bring out your pen
Bring out your notes
Flash back to your primary school days.
Its been long you worked on sums.
Sorry I am going to stress you again
Now let's calculate.
20 Sims × 120gb = 2400gb
11 Sims × 120gb = 1320gb
4 Sims × 120gb = 480gb
Wow that's huge computer students and programmars calls that terabyte, 99% of Nigerians have not sub such, I guess?
Is This Actually Helping Us? No, because people with one or two Sim card said, MTN will regret the next hack claiming they will buy more Sim card, and those who reported the hack to MTN on Twitter said, "they reported because they have threw off their MTN Sim and some said it's because, they have only one Sim"
WHAT IS THE WAY OUT?
YELLO
Dear MTN and others ISPs ,we your customers, we are negotiating price of data bundle with you 10gigabyte for 200 naira monthly, because the lowest is *131*65# which is 1gb for #200 and not everyone is eligible for it?
it is only in Nigeria we have what we call "matured sim" and "baby sim", we also have "one month inactive sim".
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF NO ACTION IS TAKEN?
An #6 level investor with a good market research can take over telecommunication industry within a month. Dangote where are you?
ANALYSIS
let's take this
If company XMO starts a telecommunication industry and operates like this.
Sim price = #1000
Data Price = #200 for 10gb
Call Price = #100/hour
There is what we call rate of turnover that sounds crazy, that ain't be possible.
According to NCC we have over 200m registered Sims and over 180m active Sims
ANALYSIS
let's put an assumption that out of this 200m only 1m became customers with XMO company
1million Sims bought × #1000= 1,000,000,000
500k Subscribers = 100,000,000
1million Sims calls = 100,000,000
everybody makes call, apart from maintenance that is their income not profit
it's just an assumption,
where is that #6level investor that will do this for us? we are ready to buy the sim ,even if it costs 20k
WILL NCC (NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION) APPROVE COMPANY XMO?
Remember company XMO is an assumption, the question is that if such company like XMO comes up, will it be approved to start operations after submitting their business plan, unlike Bet9ja gambling site that was approved.
That's why Indians abuse us online and South Africans have guts.
We know in Nigeria we are still Third world developing countries.
Professor Dr. Aja Akpuru-Aja in Government and Public Adminstration Unit, Abia State University Uturu, Nigeria said in his book titled Fundamentals Of Modern Political Economy & International Relations...changing with times Said " Modernization perspectives points to the fact that the developing countries cannot develop not because of External constraints, per se, but because of High degree of corruption, indolence, gross economic mismanagement, lack of vision, poor implementation & monitoring of policies & governmental instabilities.
Questions ❓
What if Company XMO has a bad leader?
What if Company XMO has a bad team?
What if NCC has Corrupt Executives?
What if NCC has a corrupt team?
What if government are paid for exploits?
What if NCC had been bribed?
What if Company XMO are threatened?
What if Company staffs are kidnapped?
